Latex safety

To ensure Barwon Health provides a safe healthcare environment for patients, clients, residents, staff and visitors with a latex sensitivity and to prevent an allergic or anaphylactic reaction in these people, we ask visitors to play it safe and not bring in any balloons, unless they are latex free.

Everyone entering Barwon Health sites are asked to use the pink hand hygiene pumps to clean their hands. This includes visiting specialists, all staff, visitors and family. By doing so you can help reduce the spread of infection.

Barwon Health is a latex-free health service, please do not bring latex balloons into the health service.
